In this class we will be attempting to make a place setting.

“There is nothing better than to enjoy the use of something that you have made with your own hands from a mound of wet clay especially to eat and drink from of it...”

You will go trough the process of how to center the clay make a bowl a mug and plate trim and paint With glaze. We take care of the firing all you need to is enjoy the process and have a place setting that will last for years to come.

Week 1:You will learn how to center the Clay. (Demo)

Week 2: your cup/mug  will be made and handle making will be demonstrated. (Demo)

Week3: Bowl and plate will be made and handles will be attached on mug made last class. (Demo)

Week4: Bowls and plates will be trimmed and all pots will be prepared for kiln. (Demo)

Week5: Student begins the glazing process work. All wet work must be finished by this date and ready to fire.

Week 6: Students will glaze all work made during the past 6 weeks. (Demo)
