For the beginner OR if “its been a while” this is the one to sign up for. In this class the artist will be introduced or re-introduced to the basics of working with clay. From hand-building with ancient techniques of pottery and object making to spinning clay on the potters wheel you will get the whole experience and then some. Expect to be able to make small sculpture and functional objects like mugs cup bowls and plates.
The intermediate artist will expand their beginner experience by “digging in“ a bit deeper onto the ceramic process. Artist will continue to work on some of the basics and get some new chops and refine techniques.
Hand-builders and wheel workers are both welcome.
